Custom Order Mala Beads Welcome

Mala Beads or sometimes known as Buddha Beads or Prayer Beads have been used for centuries stemming from Hinduism and Buddhism for multiple purposes such as reciting mantras, accounting, meditation, focus, and more recently, fashion. Mala Beads are created with 108 round beads, with or without counter beads, a centering Guru bead and a colorful tassel. The beads are designed in different counts and colors to guide the meditation smoothly and to bring balance to the wearer.

Malas are best known for meditation and when using mantras, when meditating with your Mala Beads you may wrap it around your wrist for easier holding or you may place it around your neck or in your dominant hand. You and your Mala create a personal healing space where the soul can expand. When using the Mala Beads, place one bead between your thumb and middle finger, recite your mantra and move on to the next one. With each mantra you can cast off any worry you may have held on to. Once your meditation is complete, all your worries will be cast out. The thumb is connected to Ether or the higher realm while the middle finger is associated with the Earth and grounding.

Mala Bead Bracelets can also be used along with the necklace. The bracelets are generally 27 or 28 beads long. Once you have completed one cycle (108) & Guru at the end, you count one bead on the bracelet and so on.

It does not matter how long you meditate or what you decide to use as your mantra. The Mala is about bringing you back to your center so that you may focus on healing and expanding consciousness.

The binding of the main cord of the Mala symbolizes our connection to the Divine. A tassel can also symbolize the fourth state of turiya (pure consciousness), the wearer’s wish to cultivate prana (life force energy), and one’s yearning towards moksha (liberation). In Buddhism, the tassel represents the roots of the lotus plant to remind the wearer of the analogy of “no mud, no lotus.”
